Our school was officially opened on Friday, 23 April in 1960 and  all are invited to come together this year to celebrate its 50th year.

The Yeronga High Golden Jubilee organizers really want to hear from people with Jubilee Gold – items you have saved from your High School days.

Yeronga State High School is turning 50 years old next year and plans are underway to celebrate this milestone from Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th April 2010.

No – it’s not a school play or a sequel to Summer Heights ... Were you a student during the years 1975 –1984 or in 1986?

Keep these dates free in your diary in 2010 ... Friday 23rd April to Sunday 25th April 2010.

Yeronga High School will celebrate 50 years of great education over this weekend.

In 1960, Yeronga State High School opened with 200 students and staff.  Since then, more than 18,000 students and staff have passed through the classrooms and corridors of the school.   Along with current students and staff, the Yeronga State High School Parents’ & Citizens’ Association is keen to develop a Past Students and Staff Register.  The goal is to generate and maintain a data base of past students and staff, as well as organise and host the 50th anniversary celebrations in 2010.
